Fantasy Football with Russ Bliss

Since 2001, Santisi Brothers has been the proud sponsor of one of the nation’s longest running and best fantasy football radio shows: “The Red Zone with Russ Bliss”. Russ Bliss appears every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday evenings from 6-8pm at Santisi Brothers, broadcasting his show live on Tuesday and Wednesday evenings from 6-7pm, then hanging out answering questions in person the rest of the time. The show is broadcast live on local station 1580 AM The Fanatic also on 99.3 FM.

The Red Zone is chock full of the absolute latest fantasy football player news, along with tips on who to start and who to keep on fantasy football benches, and whether a trade is a good for a caller’s fantasy team or not. Russ gives insight into how each player is expected to perform in the coming week’s contest and for the rest of the season.

In the NFL’s preseason Russ gives fantasy football draft strategy tips and advice and invites fantasy leagues to come out and hold their fantasy football draft parties at Santisi Brother’s. It’s become an annual event for some leagues!
 

FREE FANTASY FOOTBALL CHALLENGE EVERY WEEK!

Russ Bliss also invites his listeners to come out and play Santisi Brothers Free Fantasy Football Challenge on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday evenings from 6:00pm-8:00pm. Each week listeners come out to Santisi Brothers and fill out a roster of the players they think will score the most fantasy points that week. The top 3 scoring entries each week win cash awarded to their Santisi Brother’s VIP cards!

 
WHO IS RUSS BLISS?

Russ Bliss has hosted The Red Zone since 1997, making it one of the longest running continuous fantasy football radio shows in the world, if not the longest running still on the air. Starting on what is now NBC Sports Radio AM 1060, he has hosted the show on that station until now. During that time he also hosted shows on Sirius/XM on the Sports Byline USA Network and also a local show in Pittsburgh, PA. For 14 seasons Russ was the lead fantasy football analyst and general partner of a very successful fantasy website receiving National recognition for his expertise. During that time, he received recognition from Bloomberg News, Pro Football Weekly, and his blog “Tips From The Red Zone” was recognized as one of the top Fantasy Football Blogs by the Wall Street Journal.

Russ’s partnership with Santisi Brothers Pizzeria and Sports Grill began in 1999 when he started making appearances and promoting the Fantasy Challenge there once a week. In 2001, after leaving a full time position in the radio industry, Russ partnered with Santisi Brothers and NBC Sports Radio AM 1060 to continue doing the fantasy football radio show. The show’s huge success is both a testament to how Russ treats his callers and those who come into Santisi Brothers to meet him and play the Fantasy Challenge, along with showing the highest quality of Santisi Brother’s as Arizona’s Premiere Sports Grill Restaurant.
